Our program offers a unique learning experience for preschoolers, encompassing science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (STEAM).
Through high-end interactive experiments, robotics, engineering, life science, physical science, and coding, your child will have the opportunity to explore scientific concepts in a fun and engaging way. Our program is designed to encourage children to predict outcomes, draw conclusions, and communicate their findings verbally, promoting critical thinking skills.
In addition to interactive experiments, our program offers robotics and engineering activities that will challenge your child to think creatively and develop problem-solving skills, while hydroponics labs and a community garden will provide opportunities to learn alternative ways of growing food and caring for plants.
At Park Shore’s STEAM Science Program, our goal is to equip your preschooler with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving world. By exploring and discovering the wonders of STEAM education, we believe that we can help unlock your child’s full potential and foster a lifelong love of learning.

The understanding of alternative ways of growing our food is an important lesson for the future of our boys and girls. Our all NEW hydroponic grow lab will enable all of our boys and girls to learn about this alternative way of growing our food with hands-on experiences. They will be able to experience how the water moves through the hydroponic system as they keep track of the plants they maintain.
NEW Community Garden
Our students will begin their journey by planting seeds in the winter. As they watch them grow and nourish them we will plant them in our community garden in the spring. They will learn how to garden and take care of our plants and see how we can get food from a simple seed! Tomatoes, zucchini, string beans, and many more plants will enable our boys and girls to work together to create a productive garden.
Technology in Teaching and Learning
At Park Shore, we believe in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance the learning experience for your child. Our Computer Program uses iPads, laptops, and desktop computers to bring interactive, creative, and multi-dimensional learning experiences to your child. We were also one of the first preschools to implement SMART Board/Touch Screen technology. Here are some highlights of our current approach to technology in the classroom:
- Integration with school curriculum: Our program is designed in tandem with the school curriculum to support and enrich the skills taught in the classroom. This ensures that your child’s computer education is aligned with their overall academic journey.
- Supervised instruction: Our experienced instructors provide one-on-one guidance for using age-appropriate programs and Internet experiences in the classroom. This ensures that your child is using technology safely and responsibly.
- Partner or independent work: We offer opportunities for your child to work with a partner or independently to reinforce computer skills they have already learned. This helps them build confidence and independence in using technology.
- Wide range of virtual experiences: Our innovative and motivational approach to learning offers a wide range of virtual experiences that stimulate young minds. Your child will gain valuable technical skills that will help them succeed in their future academic and professional pursuits.
By incorporating technology into the classroom, we are able to provide a comprehensive computer program that prepares your child for the future. Our program encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, while also teaching your child how to use technology safely and responsibly. We believe that this approach to technology in the classroom helps to create a well-rounded education that prepares your child for success in the 21st century.
