Park Shore Country Day School Transportation
Park Shore Country Day School employs a full-time Transportation Director, Maurita Simpson, who is in charge of hiring and training all of the Park Shore bus drivers as well as the scheduling of all of the bus runs. Park Shore provides door-to-door bus service for all of our students. Park Shore also provides car seats for all children ages 4 and under.
Park Shore’s transportation for school covers mainly the western Suffolk region. We transport students as far north as Kings Park and Northport and as far south as West Islip. If you do not see your town on our service map, please feel free to call Maurita. You can also email her at, firstname.lastname@example.org.
All of our drivers are required to have a commercial driver’s license (CDL) with either a class B or class C. It is also mandatory that all bus drivers are FBI fingerprinted. Park Shore is 19A certified and complies to the regulations set by New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV). These requirements are regulated by the Transportation Director and a Certified 19A Examiner. Our drivers need to maintain a clean driving record which is reviewed annually. They are also required to have a physical completed by a certified medical examiner every year.
We have two mechanics on staff to service and maintain our vehicles. All Park Shore buses are inspected biannually by the Department of Transportation.
Please contact us at any time if you have any questions or concerns.
